SB19's Stell gushes over his on-the-spot performance of 'All By Myself' at David Foster's concert
SB19's Stell Ajero is still reeling from his on-the-spot performance at David Foster's concert that earned him praise from the record producer.
In case you missed it, David's one-night only concert, Hitman: David Foster and Friends, was held on June 18 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, where Stell stole the spotlight with his performance of four songs that included his solo single debut Room.
But the P-pop singer wowed the crowd even more when he sang All By Myself, which was famously covered by award-winning singer Céline Dion. His performance left David in awe for a while before he said, "Wow! And he's your very own."

In an Instagram post, Stell said that he is still in disbelief that he was given the opportunity to perform on stage with the 16-time Grammy Award winner before sharing some background details on his act.
"So pag-akyat ko ng stage, dapat mag-soundcheck na ako for my spot, pero nagulat ako na si sir David is playing the piano. Then he asked me kung suot ko na in-ear monitors ko kasi pwede daw namin i-try yung song," Stell recalled.
"Nagulat ako sabi ko sa utak ko, 'What song?' So na pa 'Huh?' ako then sabi niya All By Myself, give it a try daw. Bilang lutang ako sa sobrang gulat, kinanta ko lang siya kung paano ko siya kinakanta," he continued.
When David asked him if he wanted to perform the song that night, the local artist decided to go for it.
"Biglang BOOOM, ayun na ang nangyari. Para akong nag-audition talaga. Na-manifest ko yata. Grabe ‘yung kaba ko. Akala ko pinatry niya lang sa’kin. Syempre sino na naman ako para tumanggi 'di ba? Minsan lang yung ganong pagkakataon kaya binigay ko talaga yung best ko," Stell highlighted.
He added, "Pagkatapos kong mag-perform, grabe din sigawan ng team and staff sa likod! Para kaming nanalo sa contest tapos talon kami ng talon. Grabe."
The SB19 member also expressed his gratitude to all of his supporters as well as David and his team.
"Sana nagustuhan niyo po yung performance ko. Thank you Lord kayo po talaga yung boses ko kagabi, Salamat po!" Stell wrote.
In the comments section, many of his fans showered him with praises for his crowd-pleasing performance of the song despite not having time to rehearse it.
"Lakas maka-grandfinals naman nitong performance mo!" one user wrote.
Another commented, "Spectacular voice yet he keeps his feet on the ground. Galeng!"
Stell serves as the main vocalist, lead dancer, and main choreographer of SB19. Apart from Room and All By Myself, he also belted out Adele's All I Ask and Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked at the concert.
