Michele Gumabao and Aldo Panlilio are married!
The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 2nd runner-up and athlete shared photos of her bridal look on Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
"Today’s the day! The first day," she captioned her post. Makeup artist Justine Soriano and hairstylist John Mallari did her bridal look.
For their big day, Michele wore an off-shoulder, laced long-sleeve wedding dress by Jaggy Glarino, styled by Francis Chee and Juancho Buendia. Aldo, meanwhile, donned a black and white tuxedo.
The two exchanged "I dos" at the National Shrine of Sacred Heart in Makati on Feb. 25. The affair was attended by their nearest and dearest.
Among the familiar faces at the wedding were Lauren Young, Dani Barretto, Michele's brother Marco, and his girlfriend, Cristine Reyes.
Also present at the wedding were Michele's Creamline Cool Smashers teammates and "bridesquad," including Alyssa Valdez, Jema Galanza, and Paulina Soriano.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Michele shared that they will have two weddings. "Aldo and I have two celebrations, so two very different weddings,” she told the outlet, adding that the second one is scheduled for next month.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2024, while also marking their eighth year of being together.
The two are both into sports. Michele is a volleyball star, while Aldo is a basketball player and a strength and conditioning coach who owns a gym in the metro.
