'Best funeral ever': Michele Gumabao is a radiant bride-to-be in her funeral-themed bridal shower
Michele Gumabao said "RIP" to her single life in a funeral-themed bridal shower.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 2nd runner-up and athlete shared photos of her recently concluded bridal shower, which had an unconventional theme.
“Best funeral ever. I love you girls til my next life,” she captioned her post.
The blooming bride-to-be wore a white halter mini dress with dainty floral embellishments.
The venue had a black and white theme with skull decorations, curated by events stylist Mc Pascual.
The affair was attended by her nearest and dearest, including celebrities Lauren Young and Dani Barretto, as well as professional volleyball players Alyssa Valdez, Dennis Lazaro-Revilla, Bea De Leon, Jema Galanza, and the rest of her teammates at Creamline Cool Smashers.
Prior to this, Michele and her soon-to-be husband Aldo Panlilio held an intimate dinner with their families. In late January, they shared dreamy photos from their prenup shoot in Kintamani, Indonesia.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2024, while also marking their eighth year of being together.
The two are both into sports. Michele is a volleyball star, while Aldo is a basketball player and a strength and conditioning coach who owns a gym in the metro.
