Are you ready for Lea Salonga's villainous debut in the newest season of The Cleaning Lady?

The singer and actress is set to make a guest appearance in the fourth season of the American crime drama television series being aired on Fox.

The Pinay will portray a wealthy woman named Rose who likes to flaunt her charitable contributions. However, she has a condescending side that she keeps hidden from others.

"I don’t get to play the villain very often," Salonga said in an interview with HuffPost. "I tend to be associated with women that have a heart of gold, or women who are heroic, or women who are much softer. To play somebody that is not likable is a lot of fun."

Salonga admitted that she wasn't aware of The Cleaning Lady's existence until she was offered the role.

"I very honestly didn't know that there was a show led by Southeast Asian actors, and I'm like, 'Wait a minute, what? How come I don't know that this exists?' So I started to do a little research on it," she shared.

She highlighted how the show's interesting concept made her want to be a part of the story.

"There's underworld elements, there's undocumented people, there are all these stories that are so human and communities that are vulnerable. There's definitely interest in these kinds of stories, which is fantastic, and I'm glad that I got asked to do an episode," Salonga said.

"It means the world that that there is a universe in which these kinds of stories are able to attract interest and wide viewership, where we are centering the experiences of not just Southeast Asian people, but of Southeast Asian women," she added.

The series centers on Cambodian-Filipino doctor Thony De La Rosa as she comes to the US for medical treatment to save her ailing son. But when the system quickly fails her, she is forced to become a cleaning lady for a criminal organization.

Using her cunning and intelligence, Thony forges her own path in the criminal underworld, doing whatever she has to survive.

The Cleaning Lady is led by Élodie Yung, Adan Canto, Oliver Hudson, and Martha Millan.

The fourth season premiered on March 25.
