The 29-year-old singer also disclosed that in 2020, she previously struggled with bulimia, an eating disorder.

“[I]n 2020, [I] secretly became bulimic for 2 years during a season that left me struggling mentally and physically,” she revealed.

She then went on to share how she managed to recover after seeking consultation with Dr. Sheree Bondoc who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology.

“But in [D]ecember 2021, [I] met doc @drsheree online through ms @iamkarendavila (after an interview [I] did w her!!) and that's when she started working on my hormones and forever changed my life for the better.”

Aside from being bulimic, Moira shared that the prime cause of her previous weight was her hormones, triggered by multiple factors.

“[S]he had me take a hormone test, where she found out what really was messing up my system (stress, depression and misdiagnosed pcos for years).”

“[I]'ve been known to be someone whose weight fluctuated a lot — and [I]'d get conscious, not really because of my physical appearance but moreso because of how [I] felt internally,” she said, adding: “[I] always felt uncomfortable and unable to function at my best. [S]o when we got to the real root of all the misalignment, she knew exactly which supplements to give me and the rest is history.”

The "Queen of Hugot" further revealed how she overcame and felt things differently after going through a medication.

“[I] have been on tour for almost a month now and usually, [I]'d get sick easily — but even with weather changes, jetlag, and lack of rest, [I] think it was the first time i ever felt fully present and completely enjoyed every moment of my season with the people [I]'m so blessed to be surrounded with,” she shared.

“[M]entally, [I]'ve never felt so alive. [I] felt 100% and felt so happy doing what [I] love, especially being able to do it well.”

Moira also shared in delight that she started going to the gym after about three years. “[T]oday, [I] went to the gym for the first time in 2 (maybe 3) years HEHE. and [I] don't ever remember feeling this happy and healthy in my life.”

“[T]hank you for changing my life, doc [S]heree. [L]ove you,” she concluded her post.

Encouraging messages poured on her post, including celebrities Anne Curtis, Hannah Pangilinan, Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chiro Miranda, and singer TJ Monterde, among others who celebrated her progress.

Moira recently graced her sold-out solo concert in February.

In 2022, she split from Jason Hernandez, her husband for three years, where the latter revealed that he had been “unfaithful” during their marriage.
