LOOK: Elijah Canlas attends birthday surprise for Miles Ocampo
Amid speculations of their comeback, Elijah Canlas was seen attending Miles Ocampo’s birthday party last May 1.
On her Instagram carousel post on Monday, May 6, Miles shared snaps from her celebration.
“01 May 2024,” she wrote in the caption.
The post included a short clip of the surprise by her friends and a photo with ex-beau Elijah where they are smiling at each other.
Prior to this, the two sparked comeback rumors. In March, Elijah seemingly hinted at their reconciliation in his interview with showbiz reporter MJ Felipe.
On whether finding new love is part of his 2024 goals, the actor hinted that he still possibly had feelings for Miles. “Looking for love? What if love pa?” he said.
“There's always love within us, right? There's always love within us, and I have so much love to give, you know,” he continued.
In the same month, they made headlines the past weeks after they were spotted looking cozy together at Maine Mendoza’s birthday party.
For her part, Miles confirmed in her interview with TV 5’s Frontline Pilipinas that she and Elijah are currently talking again, months after confirming their breakup last year.
When asked whether they got back together, the actress, who was all smiles, said they were "working on it.”
Elijah confirmed their breakup in November 2023, saying that it happened “a couple of months ago.”
"I'm always gonna have love for her and always gonna support her with whatever she does. I'm always her number one fan, basically but right now we are taking our time figuring, ourselves and our lives right now,” he previously said.
In May 2022, the two first went public about their romance, which actually began in 2021.
