'Marry My Husband' stars Gong Min Jung, Jang Jae Ho welcome baby girl

Gong Min Jung and Jang Jae Ho have welcomed their first child together. 

Min Jung’s agency, Fantagio, confirmed that the actress gave birth to a baby girl on Jan. 2, according to a report by Soompi. 

“Both the mother and baby are healthy and are currently resting peacefully under the warm care of their family,” their statement read.  

Fantagio also shared Min Jung’s thoughts on motherhood. “It feels truly miraculous and overwhelming that such a tiny, precious life has come to us. Becoming a mother has made me deeply respect all the mothers in the world.” 

“I sincerely thank everyone who encouraged and congratulated us,” Min Jung is quoted as saying.

Her management has likewise expressed their thanks to those who have sent their support to Min Jung’s family. “We kindly ask for your continued warm support and love for Gong Min Jung’s future projects,” they concluded. 

Min Jung made a surprise pregnancy announcement last month during the press conference of her new TV series, Sorry Not Sorry. 

She tied the knot with her Marry My Husband co-star Jae Ho last September.
