'Marry My Husband' couple Gong Min-jeung, Jang Jae-ho to tie the knot in real life
Gong Min-jeung and Jang Jae-ho, who played a married couple in Marry My Husband, are set to tie the knot in real life.
On Friday, Aug. 16, Soompi reported that actress Min-jeung confirmed in a phone call with News1 that she's set to marry her co-star, Jae-ho, in September.
“We will be holding a private wedding with only our close friends and family,” the actress said.
The Korean stars later took to their personal Instagram accounts to announce the news. Min-jeung shared in her caption that they've known each other even before they starred in the hit series. She also described Jae-ho as a “precious person.”
“I ended up marrying the person who made me believe that I want to move forward for the rest of my life with him rather than alone,” her caption read, as translated from Korean to English by Instagram.
For his part, Jae-ho wrote, “I want to spend the rest of my life with the person I love so much in September.”
Marry My Husband aired in January this year on TvN. Apart from the hit show, Min-jeung became part of other dramas including Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Please Don’t Date Him, Daily Dose of Sunshine, and Little Women.
Jae-ho, meanwhile, played roles in dramas such as Confession, Chief of Staff, and Eccentric! Chef Moon.
