Gong Min Jung expecting first child with Jang Jae Ho
Marry My Husband stars Gong Min Jung and Jang Jae Ho are expecting their first child!
Min Jung made the surprise announcement during the press conference of her new TV series, Sorry Not Sorry on Monday, Dec. 2, per a report by Korean media Soompi.
The actress talked about how she relates to her character as Choi Ha Na, a working mom who “solves everything including her pregnancy by documenting it in Excel.”
“Just like my character, I am currently pregnant. I am expecting to give birth soon. I have many things in common with the character Ha Na,” she began.
“I am grateful that the character Ha Na in Sorry Not Sorry came to me. Originally, the character was not supposed to be pregnant, but gratefully, the writer and production team changed the setting. I am thankful to be part of this project as I feel I can represent something as a mother-to-be,” she added.
This came a few months after she married her Marry My Husband co-star Jae Ho last September.
Apart from the hit show, Min Jung was a part of other dramas including Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Please Don’t Date Him, Daily Dose of Sunshine, and Little Women.
Jae-ho, meanwhile, played roles in dramas such as Confession, Chief of Staff, and Eccentric! Chef Moon.
