Dominic Roque's phone spotted with ex-fiance Bea Alonzo as wallpaper
Is there still hope for Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque to rekindle their romance?
The former engaged couple caught the attention of social media users when Dominic's phone was accidentally shown during a video recording, where it could be seen that his phone wallpaper was still that of Bea.
In a video uploaded by Bonal Robel on Facebook, the local star took a video selfie of himself having some fun with the audience when his other hand that held his phone suddenly appeared on screen, giving viewers a quick glimpse of his lock screen containing an image of Bea and her Maltese dog Walter.
"Nakikita niyo ba ang nakikita ko? Sino ang nakalagay sa wallpaper ni Dominic Roque?" Bonal wrote in a separate post.
Online users were further intrigued by the status of Dominic and Bea's relationship after the former posted a series of pictures on Instagram, with the last photo being that of the Kapuso actress' fur baby sleeping on a couch.
Many online users expressed their delight at seeing Dominic's lock screen and took it as a sign that the pair is on their way to rekindling their romance.
"Sana all winawallpaper, Bea Alonzo. Kilig," one user wrote underneath Bonal's post.
"So ayun na nga matutulog akong masaya," another one commented.
Prior to this, Bea was also spotted wearing a ring on her finger in March, which many of her fans speculated to be her engagement ring. But some believed that the photos were taken when they were still a couple and that the actress only posted them late.
Bea and Dominic broke their silence about the end of their relationship in a joint statement posted on their Instagram account in February this year, stressing how it was "not an easy decision" for them to make. They were set to be married sometime in the coming months after Dominic popped the question in July 2023 in an afternoon in Las Casas.
They first sparked dating speculations in 2019.
