‘Lahat po ito ay biglaan’: Barbie Forteza shares behind-the-scenes info on Bea Alonzo coffee interview

Two days after Barbie Forteza dropped her coffee interview with fellow actress Bea Alonzo, she revealed in an Instagram post that it was all a spontaneous moment.

Last June 26, Forteza invited Alonzo for her first talk show episode on her YouTube vlog. She said that she always dreamed of having her own talk show where she could get to know personally the people who have inspired her.

Alonzo received the privilege of being the first guest as she is one of the people that Forteza looks up to as a role model.

In a June 28 post on Instagram, Forteza shared how happy she is with all the positive reactions her video received.

"I am so kilig with all the positive reviews on my pilot episode of Coffee Talk with Barbie on my Youtube channel!" she wrote.

The twenty-minute interview had Alonzo talking about her experience as a Kapuso star, her relationship with former on-screen partner John Lloyd Cruz, and whether she would work with an ex-boyfriend for future projects. But the interview was actually just planned with little time.

"Lahat po ito ay biglaan. HAHAHAHA!!! Parang dalawang araw ko lang pong inayos ito. When Ms. Bea Alonzo’s team reached out to me to offer a vlog collab, I immediately said yes. Saka lang nag-sink in saken na, “Ay teka. Dapat effortan ko to. Dapat budgetan," Forteza wrote.

Forteza decided that a sit-down interview was the perfect choice for the collaboration because of her talkative personality.

"I hurriedly thought of doing a sit-down interview because talking is really one of the things I’m known for by everyone who know me personally. They also know how much I love coffee kaya ang perfect para sakin ng concept na to. I also thought having coffee while doing the interview would make it less formal and more like chikahan talaga," she wrote.

After thanking Alonzo for "being a good sport" and for her professionalism, Forteza ended her post by announcing that there would be more talk show episodes. She also asked her fans who she could feature next.

Two days after it debuted, the first episode of "Coffee Talk with Barbie Forteza" already has over 290,000 views. Barbie’s YouTube channel has over 1.32 million subscribers
