Cops rush to Rihanna's home after man attempts to propose to the singer
Cops rushed to Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles after an unknown man attempted to propose marriage to the singer.
According to a report by celebrity news site TMZ, law enforcement sources said the 35-year-old man traveled from South Carolina to ask for her hand in marriage, but he "was almost immediately greeted by her security" when he arrived at the singer's Beverly Hills residence.
Entertainment portal Page Six reported that the man has been arrested for trespassing, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Since he was only able to reach Rihanna's driveway, however, the cops determined that he didn't break any laws and decided to release him after some serious questioning about his intentions.
It's unknown whether Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their child were inside their home when the incident transpired.
Page Six said this isn't the first time that someone trespassed into the house of the Lift Me Up singer.
In 2018, a man named Eduardo Leon was arrested after sneaking into her place and staying there for 12 hours. According to the suspect, he had the intention of having sex with Rihanna, who was, fortunately, out of town at the time.
