LOOK: Celebrities exercise right to vote, encourage public to participate in 2025 polls
Celebrities flocked to their respective voting precincts for the 2025 midterm elections.
On poll day, familiar faces took to social media to show their inked finger after casting their ballots. They also reminded the public to exercise their right to vote—and do it wisely.
Actress-TV host Bea Binene shared a photo of her on Instagram after voting.
"Bumoto ng tama. Bumoto nang tama. Bumoto para sa bayan. Bumoto para sa kinabukasan," she captioned her post, showing her finger marked with indelible ink.
"Go out and vote, and when you do, please vote wisely," she added.
Food content creator Erwan Heussaff helped the public decide on who to vote for by likening it to hosting a dinner party.
"Like most of you, I don't know how much this vote will count, but it's still important to do it," he wrote.
"Imagine each vote as an invitation to someone you'd want to host at home for a dinner party. The list will quickly write itself," he added.
Actor Jake Ejercito stressed the importance of voting in the country's justice system.
"Justice and progress are slow, but every ballot moves them forward," he wrote. Ahead of the polls, he reminded voters that loyalty should not lie with politicians.

It's Showtime host Kim Chiu stressed that change begins to happen by showing up at your precinct to cast your vote. "Change doesn't happen overnight—but it starts with one vote. Yours. VOTE WISELY," she wrote.
"Let's build a stronger nation and pray for good governance," she added.
Singer and actor Khalil Ramos, meanwhile, reminded his followers to properly shade their ballots.
"Be extra careful when shading your ballots. I pressed a bit too hard on the first page, and it left marks on the back, right where the partylist section was. Sadly, my partylist vote was invalidated due to 'overvoting.' Don't make the same mistake," he wrote in an Instagram story.
He then showed a photo of his finger stained with indelible ink in another post, where he included the "Let's vote!" tag.
Heaven Peralejo, in an Instagram post, shared a photo of her inked finger after casting her vote along with her friends. "We showed up. Now it’s your turn. Vote with your heart, vote for what matters. Vote wisely," she wrote in the caption.
Belle Mariano also shared a selfie with her inked finger in an Instagram story. She wrote, "Your vote shapes the future."
Host Darren Espanto also encouraged his followers to vote wisely as he shared a photo of him making a finger heart after casting his ballot.
Social media personality Saab Magalona and her husband Jim Bacarro were also among the celebrities who participated in the polls.
"Ang mahalaga lumaban. Ang mahalaga ipaglaban," Saab captioned her post.

Actress-host Gabbi Garcia also snapped a selfie with the inked finger. In her caption, she said she's hopeful for a better change with the help of "leaders with integrity."
"Just cast my vote today. Still holding on to hope, hope that choosing leaders with integrity can change the course of our future!" she wrote. She also commended volunteers who assisted voters in their respective precincts for today's elections.

Actress-host Anne Curtis, for her part, stressed that "voting is power."
"So please research and keep in mind those who truly have a heart for the country and PEOPLE! Vote wisely!" she wrote in her Instagram story.
Janine Gutierrez talked about her pleasant voting experience at her assigned precinct.
"Always so organized in my precinct," she wrote in an Instagram story. "Salamat sa lahat ng nagbabantay sa eleksyon. Hoping for the best for all of us."
Pinoy Big Brother host Bianca Gonzalez reminded her followers of the qualities that candidates should possess when choosing who to vote.
"Iboto ang mga kandidatong may plataporma at plano, may maayos na track record, walang bahid ng korapsyon, at ang puso ay para maglingkod sa mga mamamayan," she wrote in an Instagram story, sharing a photo of herself with inked finger.

Canadian-born vlogger Kyle Jennermann shared his pleasant voting experience in a post that marked his first as a Filipino citizen. "I was really impressed at the vibe at our polling station in Taguig," he said. "Only took about 45 minutes to vote, even with many people around."

Ahead of the elections, various celebrities encouraged the public to do their part and vote. Nadine Lustre, for one, reminded the public not to rely on politicians' grand campaign ads in choosing who to support in the polls.
