The 2025 polls are set for May 12, with more than 18,000 elective positions to be voted for.

According to the Commission on Elections, a total of 18,320 posts are up for grabs in the national and local elections—including senators, representatives, and partylist representatives under the 19th Congress as well as governors, vice governors, and board members under the provincial government.

Mayors, vice mayors, and councilors are to be elected as new leaders of the city government and municipal government.

There will also be seats for parliament members and party representatives under the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

Below is a look at the elective posts that candidates are vying for in the upcoming polls.

The Comelec said that there are 68,431,965 registered voters in the Philippines as of January 2025.

The poll body recently introduced a precinct finder to help voters check where they'll be casting their ballots. Here's how you can search for your precinct online.

Overseas Filipinos may vote from April 13 to May 12, while local absentees—Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police, and media practitioners—may vote from April 28 to 30.

The campaign period began on Feb. 11. A gun ban is also in place from Jan. 12 to June 11.
