Maggie Wilson revealed the reason behind her decision to leave the Philippines as she continues to deal with legal cases filed by her ex-husband, businessman Victor Consunji.

In her Instagram stories, the former beauty queen began: “If you think I left the Philippines without saying goodbye to my son was due to me being charged with adultery, you are very wrong.”

“Tim (Connor) and I have had numerous death threats but he has protected and stood by me.”

“My family has also been threatened and they, too, have stood their ground,” she added.

The model went on to encourage her social media followers “to urge the Department of Justice to show the rest of the world that we live in the 21st century and this is not acceptable whoever you think you are in our country.”

Maggie Wilson on why she decided to leave the Philippines

In September 2021, Victor and Maggie announced their separation after 11 years of marriage, calling it a "difficult decision" at the time. Later on, however, they have gone public with their feud and have since been caught up in legal disputes, including an adultery charge.

The former couple shares a son named Connor.

Tim is now speculated to be in a relationship with Maggie. Victor, meanwhile, has started a romance with entrepreneur Rachel Carrasco.

Victor made the rounds online earlier this month after sharing a photo of him and Rachel with a baby resting on his tummy

Maggie reacted to the viral snap on her own Instagram page by reposting the picture and writing: “Still not annulled. Still no communication. Still have an adultery charge. Still getting demands every day. Still blocked from seeing my son."
