Published Apr 08, 2025 12:50 pm

Kean Cipriano is mourning the loss of his mother Chona.

On Instagram on Monday, April 7, the singer and songwriter shared several photos showing some of his memorable moments with his mom.

"Napakasakit. Napakabilis ng mga pangyayare. Nakakatakot. Nakakayanig," he wrote in the caption of his post.

"Napakasakit na makita kang nahihirapan. Hindi mo deserve 'yon. I’m so sorry you had to go through that pain.

Kean went on to share how loved and appreciated his mom was by the people around her.

Walang masamang tinapay,'" he wrote.

The former Callallily vocalist also opened up about how much he will miss his mother and how difficult life will be without her.

"Sobrang mamimiss kita. Sobra. 'Yung ngiti mo.

"Rest in peace, Mommy. Mahal na mahal kita," the musician concluded.

Kean's mom died at 60 years old on April 1, according to the obituary posted on his Threads account. The cause of her death was not specified.
