Alden Richards wants to direct Heart Evangelista for a movie
Alden Richards is eyeing the Philippines' fashion icon as one of the celebrities he wants to direct for a movie.
In case you don't know, Alden is currently busy producing and helming his upcoming film for his directorial debut.
In an interview with GMA News, he was asked which actor he would like to direct at some point in his career. He shared that it's none other than Heart Evangelista.
"I've never worked with Heart on any project," Asia's Multimedia Star said, reasoning that it would be "fun" to co-star with her and direct her in a movie.
But Alden doesn't want to direct Heart in just any other movie. He said that he wants her in "something out of her comfort zone and her glamorous image."
"There's glitz and glam already. That's her image, I wanna see her something out of her shell, something out of her comfort zone," he highlighted.
Alden first announced that he was going to star, produce, and direct his upcoming film back in November last year when shared an Instagram picture of three folders that had "Producer Alden Richards," "Alden Richards as Alex Roman Director," and "Mr. Alden Richards as Director," printed on them.
In a separate post, he also teased a glimpse of what he's like in the director's chair as he posted a video of himself being hands-on with his crew and instructing the camerawoman on how to shoot the scene properly.
In an interview on 24 Oras Weekend, the actor shared some details about his directorial debut film: "May script na kami, may cast na kami, and excited ako for this. This is happening this November, before Christmas."
