Alden Richards shares glimpse of being first-time director of upcoming film: 'When a dream turns into reality'
Alden Richards is undoubtedly committed to his role as a first-time director with much passion.
The local star recently added another feather to his cap when he announced that he is going to star, produce, and direct his upcoming film.
In an Instagram post, Alden shared a picture of three folders that had "Producer Alden Richards," "Alden Richards as Alex Roman Director," and "Mr. Alden Richards as Director," printed on them.
He captioned the post, "When a dream turns into reality."
In a new post, Alden teased a glimpse of what he's like in the director's chair as he posted a video of himself being hands-on with his crew and instructing the camerawoman on how to shoot the scene properly.
His dedication to the job earned him praises from his followers, who all shared their excitement at getting to watch the final output on the big screen.
"Congratulations Alden! Nakakatuwang makita kang fulfilling your dream of working behind the cam! Excited kaming makita ang fruit of your passion! God bless you, Alden!" one user wrote.
Another one commented, "Excited na makita pung paano magdirect ang aming idol."
In an interview on 24 Oras Weekend, Asia's Multimedia Star shared some details about his directorial debut film: "May script na kami, may cast na kami, and excited ako for this. This is happening this November, before Christmas."
Alden has been enjoying much success in the past few months in his showbiz career. He recently starred in the romantic drama film Five Breakups and a Romance with Julia Montes, which has now earned P72 million in gross sales and was also released in selected cinemas in California this November.
Aside from this, he will also star in the upcoming movie Family Of Two (A Mother and Son's Story) with Sharon Cuneta, which is a part of the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
