Angelica Lopez has officially ended her Miss Grand International 2026 journey.

The Philippine representative concluded her journey in the Top 25 after missing the cut for the Top 11 during the coronation night on Oct. 10 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lopez kicked off the event with a striking greeting, stepping out in a sparkly light blue top and mini skirt.

After advancing to the Top 25, Lopez took the stage in a shimmering green swimsuit, showcasing her flawless physique.

Despite the loss, Lopez was still recognized for her mangkukulam-inspired costume, winning one of the four Best in National Costume awards. According to her, the costume is a "tribute to the stories that shaped our imagination, the traditions passed down through generations, and the powerful spirit woven into our Filipino heritage."

During her closed-door interview, Lopez addressed the pressure of securing a back-to-back victory for the Philippines following Emma Tiglao's success, noting that high expectations from fans are a natural part of the journey.

During her closed door interview, Lopez shared that there's pressure of securing a back-to-back win for the Philippines following Emma Tiglao's success, noting that expectations from fellow countrymen are normal.

"I always say that it’s normal to feel pressure because you’re representing your country, and it comes with a lot of expectations. But for me, I am a different person from the previous queens who have come before me, and I am here to show who I am as a person—as Angelica, who is resilient, powerful, purposeful in everything that she’s doing in her life," she told the judges.

"And I will always say no to those opinions out there that will only stop me from achieving my goals and dreams in life, because I know that those opinions will never help me grow and become the best version that I can really become," she continued.

Lopez earned the Reina Filipinas Grand International crown held in August. She took home the Best in Swimsuit award, along with the Reina Pasarela and Reina Urban Smiles titles. She previously represented the Philippines at Miss Asia Global 2022, Miss Universe Philippines 2022, and Miss International 2024.

The Philippines has made pageant history by achieving the first-ever back-to-back victory with CJ Opiaza taking home the crown in 2024 and Emma Tiglao in 2025.
