#FangirlGigs: ENHYPEN truly saved the best for last in 'MANIFESTO' world tour

It has only been a year and 10 months since ENHYPEN debuted in November 2020, and the group has already proven its mettle as the new powerhouse of K-pop.

ENHYPEN forayed into the industry with their first mini-album BORDER: DAY ONE. The boy group, consisting of leader Jungwon and members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and maknae Ni-ki, is the first of its kind to be created by BELIFT L AB.

They became the youngest double million-sellers in the shortest period since their debut, with their first studio album DIMENSION: DILEMMA and third mini album MANIFESTO: DAY1. In fact, both EPs debuted on the Billboard 200 at No.11 and No.6, respectively.

ENHYPEN proved their speedy rise to success further with their sold-out three-day MANIFESTO tour in the Philippines on Feb. 3 to 5 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Manila is the last stop of the group's tour after they have crossed over 11 cities and staged 21 shows worldwide. And true enough, ENHYPEN saved the best for last.

PhilSTAR L!fe was present on the first two nights of the concert and from the get-go, I knew that this would be something I would never forget. It was my first time seeing ENHYPEN perform live, and each performance makes you want more and more from the group.

The band wowed the audience both with their rich vocals and sleek, upbeat choreography through the entirety of the night's setlist, which featured fan favorites like Blessed-Cursed, Given-Taken, Drunk-Dazed, and Tamed-Dashed.

ENGENEs really gave their all when it came to singing even the group’s b-side track Polaroid Love. The whole experience of being able to exchange great energy with ENHYPEN was so heartwarming that the audience could really feel the genuine happiness the boys radiated.

As much as the crowd gave their all to their idols that night, ENHYPEN did not fail to express their happiness with the hype during the concert.

Jungwon, for one, said, "We went to a lot of countries for our concert, but Philippine fans are the most passionate!"

Meanwhile, Jake noted how Filo ENGENE's energy is truly extraordinary for him: "This may not be the biggest arena we’ve been to, but this is the loudest."

Sunoo added, "Manila crowd is more than what I expected."

Sunghoon, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the audience who gave him joy during the night: "Spending time with Manila ENGENEs makes me really happy. ENGENEs, thank you so much for gifting me this happiness. Mahal kita!"

The concert also gave us a glimpse of just how powerful and captivating ENYPEN’s vocals can be. The group did not just sing with their voices but also with their hearts, souls, and bodies. Their lyrics are also very meaningful and relatable to most people out there.

The show was also interactive, with audience members being able to participate in a lot of activities like dancing, singing, and doing fan chants.

The night ended with ENHYPEN performing encore songs Let Me In for day 1 and Pass the Mic for day 2, which both made for an emotional climax to a memorable night.

ENHYPEN expressed their excitement as they teased coming back next time with their tour consisting of a new full album.

With the immense energy that ENHYPEN and Filo ENGENEs mutually radiated during the concert, there is no doubt that the country will be ready for whatever the group brings in the near future.
