Just a day before their wedding, they held a welcome dinner for their nearest and dearest, including showbiz friends like Laureen Uy, Nicole Andersson, Joshua Garcia, Dr. Aivee Teo, among others.
Maja and Rambo first got into a relationship in 2010, but called it quits a few months later.
The celebrity couple confirmed their rekindled romance in March 2019 and has remained strong since. They announced their engagement in April 2022.
In a May interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the local star explained why she decided to marry her ex despite her personal rule of never dating one. "Siguro po kasi 'yung time namin dati, saglit lang. Parang three, four months kami when I was 21 years old. Pero 'yung four months na 'yun... sa relationship kasi hindi lang 'yung partner mo talaga 'yung iko-consider mo. His family also," Maja said, adding that her partner’s mom made her feel like she’s part of the family.
She expressed her excitement for her wedding at the time. "Sa dami po ng pinagdaanan ko, parang alam ko na kung paano iha-handle. Pero ito, new chapter. Hindi ko pa napagdadaanan. So bagong bago sa akin, bagong bago sa amin ni Rambo. At ito 'yung second chance namin ulit sa forever na," Maja said.
When asked about the biggest lesson she’s learned about love, the actress said then: "Kapag marriage na, Tito Boy, iba na. This time, hindi ka na matatakot nang todo dahil meron nang isang taong hindi ka papabayaan, alam mong lagi kang ipagtatanggol, at alam mong lagi mong kakampi kahit anong mangyari.”
Congratulations, Maja and Rambo!
