Billy Crawford 'hardly actually have time' to talk to former co-hosts at 'It's Showtime'

Television personality Billy Crawford said his friendship with his former co-hosts at It's Showtime changed when he and wife model-actress Coleen Garcia, who was also once part of the noontime program, started a family.

On GMA's Fast Talk with Boy Abunda episode that aired on Sept. 4, the veteran host asked the couple how are they with their colleagues at It's Showtime.

"I play basketball with Vhong (Navarro). I went to his house, visited him," Billy said, though added that he "hardly actually have time to communicate with every single person."

"It’s hard enough with our own family,” he noted. “So, the relationship has changed. You know, to be honest... it’s not like it used to be.”

Coleen noted how they were all together every day before until she and Billy settled down.

Boy asked them if they wished things could be better.

Coleen noted that whenever they're together with their loved ones, the bond is "always there." She cited as an example Amy Perez or "Tiyang Amy," their wedding sponsor who had her as a guest over a program via Zoom.

"We know so many people, we don't even keep up with our friends we've known for so long," she said.

Billy then went back to Boy's original question, saying all relationships can be better through communication and through understanding.

"Somehow kasi a lot has changed in three years," he said. "Sobrang daming pagbabago."

Earlier in the interview, Billy said everything has changed for them as individuals and as a couple, with Coleen noting her relationship with her parents isn't what it used to be.

The couple said they're not keen on having another child yet, as they want to focus on their son, Amari, who's turning three.

"Before, we wanted to have like four kids and everything. But now, ang laking bagay na parang natututukan namin (si Amari)," Coleen said.

Billy and Coleen began their relationship in 2014 while co-hosts of It's Showtime. They got engaged in 2016 and married in 2018.

In 2020, Billy left ABS-CBN to host the now-canceled noontime show Lunch Out Loud on TV5.

He is set to join the judging panel of GMA Network's singing competition The Voice Generations alongside Chito Miranda, Julie Anne San Jose, Stell of SB19, and Dingdong Dantes.
