Michelle Vito reacts to ex-boyfriend Dominic Roque's engagement to Bea Alonzo
Actress and model Michelle Vito is full of love and support for her ex-boyfriend Dominic Roque as he is all set to tie the knot with Bea Alonzo next year.
The Kapamilya star, who was in a relationship with Dominic prior to when he started courting Bea, expressed how thrilled she is that Dominic has finally found someone he wants to share his forever with.
"I'm happy for him. [W]ay, way back, ang gusto naman namin talaga sa isa't isa is maging masaya kami," she said in an interview with PEP.
"Ngayong ikakasal na siya, masaya ako, kasi alam ko na masaya siya, and deserve niya yun kasi napakabuti niyang tao," she added.
Michelle remained tight-lipped when she was asked about the reason for their breakup, but shared that she and Dominic did not end things in a messy way.
Michelle previously got the opportunity to work with Bea when they were cast as siblings in the 2014 drama series Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon. While the two of them didn't become continuous chatmates after the show ended, Michelle said that she still fosters a sisterly bond with her former co-star.
"After ng show, hindi na kami continuous na nakapag-usap. Pero for example, sa Ball, ganyan, ate-ate ko siya talaga," Michelle shared.
The actress is currently in a relationship with fellow celebrity Enzo Pineda for more than three years now. While the pair has been thinking of settling down soon, Michelle highlighted that they are putting their focus on their careers and becoming financially stable.
"Sa ngayon, may gagawin kaming business. Dun naman na kasi papunta yun, eh. Ang maganda na ginagawa namin ngayon ay mag-focus muna kami sa mga ganito, para 'pag dumating yung time na nandun na sa pinaka-future, stable na kami," she said.
Bea shared the news of her engagement on her Instagram account in July, when she posted a series of pictures of herself overcome with emotion after Dominic got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
She revealed that she is "definitely" having her wedding with Dominic next year. While many of her fans can't wait for their wedding, she said in an August interview they haven't started planning for it as they're still enjoying their time as a newly engaged couple.
