Zanjoe Marudo reacts to ex Bea Alonzo's rumored wedding with Vincent Co
Zanjoe Marudo is happy for his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo as the latter is rumored to tie the knot with businessman Vincent Co.
After the advanced screening of his new series, The Silent Noise, on Tuesday, March 10, Marudo was asked by the media about his reaction to wedding rumors surrounding Alonzo and Co.
"Totoo ba? Wala akong imbitasyon eh," he said.
Marudo was then asked if he's happy for his ex-girlfriend, to which he answered, “Yes, of course."
"Finally, 'di ba? Lahat tayo, kailangan maging masaya na," he said. "Sa mga batch namin, at least, ito, unti-unti na kaming nabubuo, 'di ba?"
Alonzo and Marudo were in a relationship from 2011 to 2016. Marudo confirmed their breakup in an episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda in January 2016, though he didn't go into detail.
Marudo has been married to actress Ria Atayde since March 2024. They welcomed their first child in September of the same year.
Wedding buzz between Alonzo and Co started after marriage banns showed their names at a mass at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Manila on last weekend, March 8.
Alonzo and Co have yet to comment on the wedding rumors as of writing.
