Are Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co preparing to tie the knot?
The couple fueled the speculations after marriage banns showed their names at a mass at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Manila on Sunday, Mar. 8.
During the mass' livestream, the actress' full name, Phylbert Angelli Escalante Ranollo, showed on screen as the bride alongside her groom's full name, Ferdinand Vincent Pe Co.
Banns of marriage, in the Catholic tradition, are a public legal notice made in a church to proclaim the intention of impending marriage, "with the object that persons aware of any impediment to the marriage may make their objection known."
Co and Alonzo have yet to comment on the speculations as of writing.
The couple sparked romance rumors in June 2025, when Co shared on his now-private Instagram page a photo of himself holding hands with a mystery woman while walking on the beach in Spain. Eagle-eyed social media users pointed out that the actress' outfit matched the mystery woman's clothes. Weeks later, they were seen together at a gathering with their friends, including style icon Heart Evangelista and her husband Chiz Escudero.
In August 2025, Alonzo confirmed her relationship with the businessman in a GMA interview.
Co is the eldest son of billionaire couple Lucio and Susan Co of the popular supermarket chain Puregold. According to Forbes, the Cos are worth $2.3 billion (~P128 billion), making them among the Philippines’ wealthiest families, as of 2024.
Vincent has been the president of Puregold since 2015. He also serves as the chairman, president, and director of other companies.
Alonzo was previously engaged to actor Dominique Roque. They confirmed their split in February 2024.
