Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo welcome first child

Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo have welcomed their first baby!

On his official Facebook page on Monday, Sept. 23, the actor shared a short clip of a baby being transported by a nurse in an undisclosed hospital with the date: “09.23.24.” 

“Eto na! Officially Zaddy ka na Z,” the caption read. 

Ria reportedly gave birth early Monday, Sept. 23. More details about the couple’s first child, which was previously revealed to be a baby boy, have yet to be disclosed. 

The new mom announced her pregnancy on Father's Day last June in an IG post with the caption, “To the dad you already are and the dad I know you’ll be. Love you [Zanjoe Marudo] so excited for this new chapter with you. Happy first Father’s Day!” 

The couple tied the knot in a civil wedding in Quezon City with Mayor Joy Belmonte as the officiant on March 23, a little over a month after announcing their engagement in February. 

They first sparked dating rumors in August 2022, but officially confirmed their romance in January 2023.
