Empress Schuck on miscarriage: 'Sometimes our plans don't align with God's plans'
Actress Empress Schuck revealed that she lost her twins in a miscarriage in late 2023.
Schuck wrote about the experience on Instagram on Jan. 2, saying, "From two embryos, to one, then to none."
"I'm still not sure how to talk about it. I just know that sometimes our plans for ourselves don't align with God's plans for us," the actress captioned, posting a photo of the twins' sonogram and positive pregnancy tests.
The Broken Marriage Vow star also thanked her husband Vino Guingona for supporting her through their recent loss.
"You are truly God's blessing to me. We may not exactly understand how we fee about this but having each other is enough to say that everything will be ok," Schuck said.
Schuck and Guingona first started dating in 2014 and exchanged vows in 2021. They welcomed their daughter Athalia in 2015.
In the comments section of her post, fellow celebrities showered support and prayers to the family.
"Hugs and prayers, Ate," wrote Sue Ramirez.
"So sorry to hear this, Empress," added Iya Villania.
"Love you empay... In Gods perfect time," Melissa Ricks commented.
