Chelsea Manalo set for Miss Universe Asia tour
The Philippines' Chelsea Manalo is embarking on an Asia tour along with other Miss Universe 2024 continental queens.
On its social media pages, Miss Universe Philippines wished the Miss Universe Asia titleholder luck for her upcoming tour, which starts on March 31.
“Chelsea will help celebrate beauty, grace, and empowerment as she represents not just the Philippines, but the whole Asian continent, on this landmark trip,” MUPH wrote.
The Pinay beauty will be joined by her fellow Miss Universe continental queens, Miss Universe Americas Tati Calmell from Peru, Miss Universe Europe and Middle East Matilda Wiratavouri from Finland, and Miss Universe Africa and Oceania Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria.
The continental queens will be in Thailand from March 31 to April 25, followed by a visit to the Philippines from April 26 to May 3.
Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig was in the Philippines for five days until March 30.
Chelsea was crowned the first Miss Universe Asia in the 73rd edition of Miss Universe in Mexico last November 2024.
“This victory is not just mine; it belongs to all of us who dared to dream and worked tirelessly to turn our dreams into reality. Para sa inyo lahat ‘to,” she wrote in her Miss Universe Philippines 2024 winning statement in July last year.
The 2025 edition of the Miss Universe pageant will be held on Nov. 21 at the Impact Muang Thong Thani in Thailand.
