Preparations are underway as K-pop girl group Red Velvet is set to release new music in March.
SM Entertainment, Red Velvet’s entertainment agency, confirmed the girl group’s comeback in an exclusive report by Korean media outlet MyDaily on Friday, Feb. 18.
“Red Velvet is preparing a new album with the goal of a release in March. We ask that you please show a lot of interest,” SM Entertainment said, as per a translation by Soompi.
Red Velvet’s upcoming comeback marks their first release since Queendom in August 2021.
Red Velvet debuted as a four-member unit with the single Happiness in August 2014. Yeri was added to the group in March 2015, following the release of their first mini-album Ice Cream Cake.
Red Velvet is composed of five members, namely, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. The girl group is popular for their hit tracks Psycho, Bad Boy, and Red Flavor.
