LOOK: Maja Salvador gets surprise baby shower from 'best friends-in-law'
Maja Salvador was treated to a baby shower by her nearest and dearest, including her celebrity friends Alora Sasam and Kakai Bautista.
Kakai shared a compilation of clips from the intimate event on Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 6. "BIL's (Bestfriends in Law) surprise baby shower for our mama Maja," she wrote in the caption.
"We love you, Baby Ramba. Excited na ang makukulit mong mga tito and titas na mayakap ka," she added, referring to Maja's first child with husband Rambo Nuñez.
Entrepreneur and filmmaker Thou Reyes also shared some highlights of the affair on his IG account. "Had a hert-to-heart talk to nugget (Ramba) to grow healthier, be calm, loving, and easy on her mother," he wrote. "We are all excited to see her. Few more months and she will meet the crazy bunch of bestfriends-in-law."
Just recently, Maja's friend and fellow TV host Maine Mendoza also threw the former an intimate baby shower with a lovely green and white theme for its flowers, balloons, and other ornaments. Maja's husband Rambo, Maine's husband Arjo Atayde, and actress-beauty queen MJ Lastimosa were spotted at the party.
Maja announced her pregnancy in December, and revealed she and Rambo are expecting a baby girl last month.
The couple first got into a relationship in 2010, but called it quits a few months later. They confirmed their rekindled romance in March 2019 and announced their engagement in April 2022.
They tied the knot in July last year at The Apurva Kempinski Bali in Indonesia.
