Netizens abuzz after Moira Dela Torre's ex Jason Hernandez posts picture with unknown woman
Social media users are now questioning the relationship status of singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre and her ex-husband Jason Hernandez after the latter was seen with an unknown woman.
The issue came about after Jason posted an Instagram Story of a picture of himself wrapped around the arms of a woman whose face is concealed by her hat.
Prior to this, he also posted a snap of himself running in front of a mountainous background in Idaho with the caption, "Gaano pa ba kalayo ang tatakbuhin para maka move on sayo? Just kidding."
Since the singer did not reveal the face nor name of the woman he was with, many of his followers became curious about her identity and even wondered if she was actually Moira herself.
"Si Moira ata kasama mo," one netizen commented in a separate Instagram post by Jason with the caption, "Nasaan ka na ba?"
Another one wrote, "Parang okay na sila ni Moira. Kung saan happy si Moira, happy for them kasi mag-asawa naman sila eh."
However, some were not so amused at those who were prying into the real status of Jason and Moira's relationship.
"Tigilan niyo ang pagpipilit niyong makipagbalikan kay Moira. She's doing well right now in life—she is loved by so many and has a successful and established career. She doesn't need any man right now so please stop," one user stressed.
Another one insisted that Moira is not the woman that Jason was with, writing, "Pwede ba leave Moira alone. First, hindi si Moira ang nasa photo dahil nandito sa Pinas si Moira and lastly hindi morena si Moira unlike the girl. Halatang mga walang alam kay Moira eh."
In a now-deleted comment made by Moira on Facebook, the singer, who recently wiped her Instagram account clean for undisclosed reasons, denied that she was the woman in Jason's photo.
The former couple had been friends since college and tied the knot in 2019. However, eagle-eyed fans began to stir the pot about their rumored breakup when they noticed that Moira deleted all photos of Jason on her Instagram feed, as well as removed the surname "Hernandez" from her social media accounts.
The rumors were confirmed when Jason revealed "with a heavy heart" that he had been unfaithful during their marriage and announced that they are ending their three-year union.
