Jessy Mendiola on plans for baby no. 2 with Luis Manzano: 'Malapit na'
Jessy Mendiola talked about her plans of having another child with Luis Manzano, revealing that they have picked out a name for their little one when they're ready.
In an episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Friday, April 5, the actress shared she wants to have many children in the future as she opened up about her baby number two plans with Luis.
"I think malapit na," she told the King of Talk. "Gusto ko talaga ng maraming anak, Tito Boy, kung kaya ko lang talaga nang sabay-sabay."
She also recalled how Luis has been giving her hints about wanting to have another child with her. "Kapag nakikita niyang naglalakad na si Peanut, palagi niyang sinasabi, 'You want to be an ate, anak?' Sasabihin niya sa akin, 'Ano, love, puwede na ba?'" she said. "So parang ako, 'Oo naman.' Siyempre, I mean, kung ibigay ni Lord, bakit naman hindi?'"
The local star later revealed that they have already prepared a name for their second child. "Actually, kahit pa girl or boy, Ocean. Mahilig talaga kami sa dagat, sa tubig, we are beach lovers. So talagang sabi ko, puwede sa girl or sa boy, Ocean. Ocean Tawili Manzano," she shared.
Jessy first tied the knot with Luis at The Farm in San Benito in Batangas in February 2021 after five years of dating. They welcomed their first child Isabella Rose, whom they fondly call "Peanut," in December 2022.
The couple had their second wedding in Coron, Palawan in February this year. According to ABS-CBN News, the attendees were Luis' parents Edu Manzano and Vilma Santos, and his stepfather Ralph Recto. Jessy's family was also finally able to attend the big day. (Her mother held a video call during their first wedding.)
