Tori Kelly hospitalized after collapsing in public—reports

Singer Tori Kelly was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during a dinner on Sunday, reports said.

The Nobody Love singer fainted after her pulse quickened while she was out with friends in downtown Los Angeles. It prompted her friends to bring her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the US' premiere hospitals, where doctors discovered blood clots around her lungs and legs. 

Sources told TMZ that the 30-year-old was “out for a while” and that the situation is “really serious.”

The doctors are still trying to find out if there are any clots around her heart.

Before all this, Tori announced that her new EP tori will be out on July 28.

She had also released Missin U, her first solo single in nearly three years. The pandemic halted her world tour back in 2020, which was supposed to include a stop in Manila.

She addressed the lack of new songs in June 2022, saying that producing music is not as easy as they think.

“Unfortunately it's not as simple as just releasing a song whenever I want,” she said.

Tori started out by joining several singing competitions on TV, but it was her stint on American Idol in 2010 that gave her a major breakthrough. This led to her successful career, culminating in two Grammy wins.
