#FangirlGigs: (G)I-DLE’s PH concert was a special moment that Neverland’s would never forget
Seeing Soyeon, Minnie, Miyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua perform live is a dream come true for PH Neverlands. And if there’s one word to describe (G)I-DLE first ever concert here in Manila, it would be crazy—just like what Yuqi said.
When (G)I-DLE showed up to the stage, the crowd went from being silent to wild. You will hear various cheers like, “I love you, Yuqi” coming from the different parts of the arena.
It was such a euphoric feeling when the first song Oh My God played. Everything became a blur and we wished that time would stop because we are finally seeing them in flesh.

After their first song, the crowd was still uncontrollable especially when they sang Latata. According to the fans, it is what brought them to stan (G)I-DLE. Soyeon couldn’t help but feel happy upon hearing the answer from the crowd.

Of course, we would never forget the interaction between the idols and the fans. Yuqi even taught PH Neverlands how to be friendly and say “Hi” to the person sitting next to us—or in our case, standing beside us.
Halfway to the show, the girls started showing off their vocal talent as Minnie sang Dahlia. The main vocalist added that while performing she couldn't hear her voice in the in-ear piece because the fans' screams were loud.
But it did not end just there, (G)I-DLE surprised fans with a rock version of Liar, another crowd favorite song.
During their ment, the members asked which is their favorite performance of the night, Yuqi said that the upcoming song, which is the ever-so popular Tomboy, will be her favorite and asked fans to chant the iconic “I'm fu- tomboy” line.
The fans even danced to one of their songs My Bag from their recently released album I NEVER DIE.
Just in time for the fans to fully enjoy the concert, it’s finally closing to the end. You can definitely hear the sadness as collective “Awws” filled the entire theatre.
But still, (G)I-DLE promised PH Neverlands that they will be back very soon.
“Don’t be sad, we will be back for sure,” Yuqi said moments before she joked that she is Cube Entertainment’s CEO.
For Miyeon, the concert in Manila is something she would never forget.
“I’ll never forget this, Manila Neverland.”
The concert came to a close with the group singing Polaroid. During this moment confetti filled the venue and I can’t help but feel happy and sad that I have witnessed such a momentous event.
With all that happened that night, one thing I can conclude is that (G)I-DLE is Neverland’s home and safe haven.
