Rachelle Ann Go introduces daughter, shares meaning behind her name
Rachelle Ann Go shared a glimpse of her daughter, Sela Teruah.
More than a month after giving birth, the singer-actress introduced her second child on Thursday, April 27 on her Instagram post.
In the photos, the couple shared snaps of their newborn's feet and hand.
“Blessed to introduce Sela Teruah Spies,” she wrote in the caption. She welcomed her daughter with her husband, Martin Spies last March 23.
The Miss Saigon star also shared the meaning behind their daughter’s name.
“It took us almost five weeks to choose her name but God’s timing is perfect,” she added. “Sela means rock, to pause or reflect, [and] Teruah means shout or trumpet blast.”
Celebrities poured down their congratulatory messages, including fellow singers Kyla, Kim Molina, Maricris Garcia, and new moms Iza Calzado and Rita Daniela.
Filipino-American actor Jon Jon Briones wrote, “Congratulations, kapatid! You’re a super woman!” He took part in Miss Saigon: 25th anniversary.
Rachelle married Martin Spies in 2018. They welcomed their firstborn, Lukas Judah in March 2021. She announced her second pregnancy in December.
Rachelle is known for his notables roles in Broadway musicals such as Gigi in Miss Saigon, Fantine in Les Misérables, and Eliza Schulyer in Hamilton.
