Pia Wurtzbach, Heart Evangelista, Anne Curtis among Top 10 Southeast Asian Influencers—report

Three of the Philippines' showbiz personalities are taking Southeast Asia by storm as they were among the top ten Southeast Asian influencers in a new report.

Based on the findings of marketing platform Lefty, in partnership with brand-building agency Karla Otto and TikTok, Pia Wurtzbach, Heart Evangelista, and Anne Curtis were revealed to be among the ten influencers who are dominating the realms of Instagram and TikTok in terms of Earned Media Value (EMV)

The report defines EMV as "the equivalent ad spend of the impressions gained." In other words, it is the monetary value of all exposure a celebrity gains on third-party sites, social media, or traditional media content.

Thai actor and model Apo Nattawin emerged as the top dog among the Southeast Asian influencers, having an EMV of $9.8 million (P546 million). On his heels are Thai celebrities Mile Phakphum and Tu Tontawan.

Coming in fourth place is Pia, who has a value of $2.9 million (P161 million). In fifth place is Heart with $2.6 million (P144 million) EMV and in tenth is Anne with $2.2 million (P122 million) EMV.

Thai actors Dew Jirawat, Win Metawin, and Bright Vachirawit, as well as Indonesian fashion and lifestyle content creator Erika Richardo, also made it on the list.

  • Tu Tontawan - $3 million (P390 million)
  • Pia Wurtzbach - $2.9 million (P161 million)
  • Heart Evangelista - $2.6 million (P144 million) 
  • Erika Richardo - $2.5 million (P139 million)
  • Dew Jirawat - $2.3 million (P128 million)
  • Win Metawin - $2.3 million (P128 million)
  • Bright Vachirawit - $2.3 million (P128 million)
  • Anne Curtis - $2.2 million (P122 million)

The report was accomplished through analyzing more than 9,500 influencers with more than 10,000 followers on Instagram, and TikTok who have tagged a participating fashion house’s account in-post during S/S 2024 New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks.

In another report, Lefty also named Andrea Brillantes as the top TikTok Creator for Fashion Week under the Actors Category. Her attendance at the Versace Milan Fashion Week show generated 22.8 million impressions on the social media platform.
