The 9-month-old baby of influencer Lauren Cummings Johnson has died.

In a joint Instagram post, Lauren and her husband WIlson Johnson announced the death of their little one. "Our sweet Lily Ann went to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 6," they wrote. "She was exactly 9 months old, 9 months our beautiful miracle, 9 months of a love, joy, and sunshine in our home and hearts."

"We are so incredibly grateful for the promise of Heaven and the hope we have in our Heavenly Father. His ways are higher and better than ours, even when we don’t understand it. He blessed us every single day for the past 9 months and we will never be the same," they added.

The couple said that it was an honor "to get to share her with the world" as they thanked everyone who loved Lily Ann. "We know so many of you loved her and prayed for her. She was pure joy and sunshine! Thank you all for loving her and us the past 9 months!"

"We always said she was a real life angel. What a blessing it was to be her mom and dad. Thank you Jesus and thank you Lily Ann for changing our lives forever!" they concluded.

Lauren and Wilson did not disclose the cause of Lily Ann's death.

Last year, however, they revealed that their child was diagnosed with Citrullinemia type 1—a rare genetic condition that "prevents the body from removing ammonia properly." According to the US Health Resources & Services Administration, high levels of ammonia can be very toxic to one's system. "If untreated, damage to the brain and nerves leads to the signs and symptoms of the condition. In severe cases, this condition can lead to coma or death if not treated early," it stated.

Lauren is a lifestyle influencer with thousands of followers on Instagram.
