BTS' Jungkook expressed frustration about feeling restricted as an idol in a now-deleted broadcast.

During his early live broadcast on Weverse on Thursday, Feb. 26, the K-pop superstar, who was in a drinking session, aired his feelings of being controlled, which prevents him from being "honest."

“I want to talk about smoking. Can’t I talk about cigarettes? I am 30 now,” he said. “I smoke a lot, but I don’t smoke now because I tried. But if we talk about this, the company might make a huge fuss again,” he said, as translated by The Korea Times, referring to BigHit Music and HYBE.

He said he wanted to live as he wished, if not for being controlled.

“Tomorrow, the members will probably call me out, and the company will say something too. It is my personality to be honest about things because I’m drunk. If I did something wrong, I want to admit it too. Of course, I can’t talk about it directly because it’s a sensitive matter,” he said, per StarNews

“I’m human. It’s not easy, but a few people are completely honest with the world. If I were a solo artist, I would’ve said things without caring if I were a solo musician,” he continued.

At one point in the broadcast, the 3D singer was also reportedly seen swearing with his fingers and shouting at his friend, which concerned some of the viewers and suggested that he end his live broadcast.

He, however, said, “Why would I end the live? I wish people wouldn’t tell me what to do.”

Despite this, Jungkook expressed his appreciation to his fans, saying, "There is no one who can replace you."

"I can be happy every moment without you, but the fundamental reason why I want to be on stage and sing well is not because of my family or members, but because of the people who support me. You are the only reason I want to do better," he added.

"I'm not a good speaker, and I'm not good at expressing logically and accurately," he continued. "I hope this heart will be conveyed a little bit."

He also assured that their comeback album is coming soon. Arirang is set to be released on March 20.

In the comments section, a fans expressed how refreshing it was to see the idol be "comfortable and enjoying yourself," to which he replied, "Please support me because I will live my life my way now."

Meanwhile, BTS is set for their highly anticipated return to the global stage through a massive world tour 3.5 years after they went on hiatus to focus on solo projects. The group will be going on what is set to be the "biggest global K-pop tour of all time," according to Live Nation.
