PH bets crowned Miss Aura International, Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025
It's a great day to be a pageant fan as the Philippines earned two wins after Krishan Pauline Alerre and Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug were both crowned as this year’s Miss Aura International and Miss Orient Tourism Global titleholders, respectively.
During the Miss Aura International finals night held in Turkey on May 23, Alerre impressed the crowd with her winning answer to the question, "They say the future is female—if that’s true, what kind of future do you believe she will create?"
"I believe female can be a future and she can create world where she can empower others; a world driven by empathy, equality, and innovation, and a future where purpose guides progress. But after all, I believe, regardless of gender, they can be a future as long as they have the willingness to create an aura-mazing impact globally," she answered.
After her, Romania was named as first runner-up, the Czech Republic was the second runner-up, Thailand was the third runner-up, and Kyrgyzstan was the fourth runner-up.
Thanks to Alerre, the Philippines now has two Miss Aura International wins after Alexandra Faith Garcia in 2021.
On her social media pages, the beauty queen from Pampanga shared how winning the pageant still "feels like a dream" to her and has her "floating on cloud nine."
"I'm overwhelmed with gratitude and love. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and supported this journey. This crown is not just mine—it's for you everyone. Proud to bring this honor home!" she wrote.
Meanwhile, Bangug's Miss Orient Tourism Global win comes after she displayed her wit and grace as she answered the question, "As a tourism ambassador and potential titleholder of the Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025, how would you balance carrying the crown and title while also representing the unique beauty and culture of your country to the world?"
"As Miss Orient Tourism Global, I am not just a representative. I am a movement. With every step I take, I carry the stories of my culture, the strength of my people, and a vision for a world where tourism uplifts, connects, and transforms," Bangug said.
She continued, "I will become a bridge that connects cultures, inspires understanding, and celebrates global unity. Becoming the titleholder and the representative of the Philippines is not actually a challenge—it is an honor, and I know that together with this organization, we can inspire everyone to promote our vibrant culture, our rich heritage, and our warm hospitality. Because after all, the crown is not just a symbol. It is a responsibility, and I am ready to wear it with purpose, power, and passion."
Malaysia was named as first runner-up while Ghana is second runner-up.
Apart from being the grand winner, Bangug also bagged the National Cotume Winner Award for her sampaguita-inspired ensemble.
