Adele moved to tears after hugging Celine Dion at her Las Vegas residency show
Adele couldn’t hold back her tears upon seeing Celine Dion in the audience of her Las Vegas residency show.
In a video shared by a fan on X, the award-winning singer was performing her song When We Were Young when she walked over to Dion, who was seated in a side box at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Oct. 26.
The two singers shared an embrace, which left Adele teary-eyed before speaking to the My Heart Will Go On singer. Dion held the Someone Like You artist's face tenderly in her hands and took her hand to kiss it.
Before finishing her performance, Adele said a couple more things to the "Queen of Power Ballads."
In 2018, the Rolling in the Deep singer attended Dion's second residency at the same venue and stopped by to see her backstage. Afterward, she took to Instagram to share her delight after enjoying the performance of the My Heart Will Go On artist.
“Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life, thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humor. Happy New Year lady x,” she wrote.
On Nov. 23, Adele will wrap up her two-year residency in Las Vegas.
At a concert in Munich in September, the 16-time Grammy winner disclosed her plans to step away from music for a considerable period after finishing her residency.
