John Estrada offers advice on cheating, giving in to temptation: “No. Don’t do it.”
John Estrada offered some unsolicited advice to married men during an interview with actor Matteo Guidicelli.
The actor opened up about infidelity during the Father's Day special for Matteo G Primetime published on June 21. At one point, fellow guest Randy Santiago seemingly let slip that his wife had caught him being unfaithful.
Guidicelli then asked the two for their advice to cheaters who got caught.
"Galingan niyo, galingan niyo para hindi kayo mahuli," Santiago retorted, to which Estrada countered, "No, no, no. Don't do it," to Santiago's shock and the applause of the audience.
"Pagsisisihan niyo 'yan. maniwala kayo sa'kin," Estrada continued, seemingly hinting at his rocky relationship with ex-wife Priscilla Meirelles. "[You] learn your lesson [and] every day, you learn something[.] The only time you realize it [is] when it's not there anymore."
Asked if he is to fall in love again, Estrada gave an honest reply, "Well, I hope so," adding that he's "never" going to get married again.
Cheating allegations vs Estrada
In 2023, Meirelles admitted that her relationship with Estrada was on the rocks. The beauty queen posted various cryptic posts on Instagram about her husband's alleged cheating. She also confirmed that she and Estrada were having a marital problem in the same year.
Estrada remained mum on their relationship in May of that year as rumors persisted.
In July 2024, Estrada denied that he was in a relationship with a certain Lily Hallman "or any other woman," saying that they only met in Boracay. She then said he and Meirelles mutually decided to take a break. Merielles later clarified that the decision was not mutually made. The couple has since been separated.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the Miss Earth 2004 titleholder shared that she filed for divorce from Estrada in Brazil in 2024, disclosing that Estrada allegedly had multiple mistresses.
"Ang dami nila eh. In the third, fourth, fifth, sixth. Buong barangay ata eh," she quipped.
"I don't see myself sharing a life with that person anymore. I fought for 14 years, and it got to a point where hindi ko na kaya," she added.
In February 2026, Meirelles revealed that she and John Estrada had finalized their divorce. Meirelles said Estrada asked her to get back together “constantly,” but stressed that their “book is closed.”
Estrada and Meirelles got married at a beach wedding in La Union in 2011. They have a daughter named Samantha Anechka Estrada.
