John Estrada reveals he and Priscilla Meirelles are on a break, denies dating Lily Hallman
John Estrada broke his silence on his relationships after his wife Priscilla Meirelles said he was seeing someone new.
The actor took to Instagram stories to first address some fake art cards going around that claimed he confirmed the cheating allegations.
"Lalake ako, maraming nagkakagusto sakin kasi matipuno at gwapo tayo. Anong magagawa ko kung tukso na 'yung lumalapit, edi tukain!" the art card claimed.
Estrada shut this down, writing "Fake news. Mag kita tayo sa korte soon kung sino ka man."
He also revealed that he and Meirelles have been on a break for some time.
"Priscilla and I have mutually agreed to take a break for quite some time now. There's more to the story but the last thing I want to do is to hurt the people I love," Estrada said.
The Batang Quiapo star added that he is not in any relationship currently, including the woman his wife name-dropped in a previous post, Lily Hallman.
"I want to make it clear that I am not in a relationship with Lily Hallman or any other woman for that matter. I just met her in Boracay. I had a short break from work and felt the need for a breather," he wrote.
"This is a private family matter that's why I ask for privacy as we deal with this. Thank you!"
On July 15, Meirelles commented on the actor's recent Instagram uploads as one user asked who he was with.
"Si @ Lily Hallman_," the Brazilian model and TV host said. "Looking very divorced Mr. Estrada."
She also confirmed that she and Estrada were going through marital problems.
"Respeto lang 'yung gusto ko sa kahit sino," she said. "Especially kaming mga babae, we deserve respect... palagi kong binibigay ang respect sa mga tao."
In 2023, Meirelles bared that her relationship with Estrada was on the rocks amid his alleged cheating.
She wrote a post asking her followers, "What to call a female that entertains married man?" and "Married men/women who chase single boys/girls are seriously so pathetic!"
In 2023, Estrada refused to answer questions about her reported marriage issues, saying that though he's a public figure, it doesn't mean being open about his personal life.
Estrada and Meirelles got married at a beach wedding in La Union in 2011.
