Laura Lehmann, Von Pessumal reveal gender of first child
Former beauty queen Laura Lehmann and her husband, PBA player Von Pessumal, are expecting a baby girl!
The couple shared their gender reveal video on social media on Thursday, March 6. In the short clip, they opened a big umbrella that revealed some pink confetti, indicating that they are expecting a baby girl.
Before this, they posted a "guess the gender" video for their followers.
Fans and celebrities expressed their love and support to the couple.
“Yaaaaaay,” Megan Young wrote with pink emojis.
"My baby girl. [I'm] already crying!!" beauty queen Cynthia Thomalla wrote.
“Yeheyyy congratulations Laura!” Miss International 2013 Bea Santiago commented.
“Hahahahaha I knew it!!!!! Baby girl on the way!!!!” PBA player Chris Ross also commented.
This came over a month after they made a pregnancy announcement in January.
Laura and Von started dating while they were still studying at the Ateneo de Manila University. At the time, Laura was the university’s courtside reporter, while Von was among the players for the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
They announced their engagement in May 2020 after five years of dating, and officially tied the knot in a civil wedding a year later.
