Travis Kelce gets first major TV role in the horror series 'Grotesquerie'

American footballer Travis Kelce is set to star in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horror series Grotesquerie. 

According to a report by Variety, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently confirmed the news through his Instagram story by sharing a video of himself with actress-host Niecy Nash-Betts. 

The upcoming horror film is created by Ryan Murphy, who is famous for shows like Glee, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Nip/Tuck, and American Horror Story. The announced cast so far includes Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. It is slated to premiere in the fall. 

More details about the plot, additional cast, and details of Travis’ character are still under wraps.

Aside from his football career, Travis worked on an unscripted reality dating series Catching Kelce in 2016. He also made an appearance in one episode of the comedy series Moonbase 8

The athlete is also set to host Prime Video’s game show dubbed, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? 

Travis also made his debut in the film industry as an executive producer of the dark comedy movie My Dead Friend Zoe, alongside producers Ray Maiello, a former Netflix executive, and Mike Field, a green energy entrepreneur.
