Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo will receive a grand homecoming parade in Bulacan this Saturday, June 8.

According to Bulacan Tourism, the "historic and beautiful celebration" will start at the Bulacan Capitol Building in the city of Malolos at 8 a.m.

It will pass from Capitol Compound to Malolos Bayan via Paseo Del Congreso, and end at the Malolos-Guiguinto Boundary Arch.

"Join us in celebrating her incredible achievement and show our support on her journey as she represents our country in the Miss Universe pageant," they wrote.

They continued: "Let’s come together as one community and give Chelsea the hero’s welcome she deserves! Don’t miss this chance to be part of a historic and beautiful celebration!"

Chelsea, who hails from Bulacan, shared outtakes from a photoshoot inspired by Juan Luna's "La Bulakenya" a day before the coronation night.

In the photos, she is seen wearing a Terno dress that had butterfly sleeves with gold floral embroideries by Glen Lopez.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, the beauty queen opened up about facing resource limitations during the pageant.

"I come back and forth to Bulacan, so siguro 'yung transportation, the dress, the makeup, everything. You have to provide it on your own," she said.

Despite the financial challenges, she shared that her glam team was there to support her, as well as her parents. She also received help from Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando.

On May 22, Chelsea was crowned by her predecessor Michelle Dee at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. She is set to represent the Philippines in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.

Other winners that evening night were first runner-up Stacey Gabriel of Cainta, second runner-up and Miss Cosmo Philippines 2024 Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Privince, third runner-up and Miss Supranational Philippines 2025 Tarah Valencia of Baguio, and fourth runner-up Christi McGarry of Taguig.

Iloilo's Alexie Brooks was also named Miss Eco International Philippines 2025 while Pampanga's Cyrille Payumo was named Miss Charm Philippines 2025.
