Miranda Cosgrove revealed she has never experienced being drunk nor smoked anything “in [her] entire life,” saying that the closest thing to “crazy” that she has ever done was consuming edibles.

The iCarly star made the revelation during her guesting on Good Guys podcast by Josh Peck and Ben Soffer. In the Dec. 18 episode, Josh asked Miranda if she has ever done anything bad, like drinking, to which she answered, “I’ve never been drunk in my entire life.”

“I truly don’t have a good reason; I’ve never even been buzzed. I’ve sipped things before but like, two sips,” she said, adding that she’s “open” to getting drunk.

While the 30-year-old actress has never tried smoking, she has tried an edible brownie that put her to sleep for hours.

“I’ve never smoked anything; I had an edible, like an edible brownie, and I fell asleep for 17 hours,” she shared. “I woke up super rested.”

When Miranda was asked why she doesn't have much experience with drinking and smoking even though she's been spotted in various Hollywood parties, the 30-year-old star revealed that she has always been the designated driver in her group, which she definitely has no problem with.

“I think it started off because I was always the designated driver when I went out with my friends, and I sort of liked taking on that role,” she explained. “I got used to it, and [kind of] stuck with it forever,” she quipped.

“But yeah, I’m open to drinking,” she said, adding, “I’m still planning on it at some point even though I’m 30.”

Miranda is best known for her role as Carly Shay in the Disney series iCarly, which ran from 2007 to 2012 and spawned a reboot in 2021. She also appeared in other series and films including Zoey 101, Mission Unstoppable, and 3022.

She's been busy promoting her upcoming romantic comedy film Mother of the Bride, which she co-stars with Brooke Shields and Benjamin Bratt. It's slated to premiere in 2024.
