Sue Ramirez pays tribute to late mom Chit Dodd: 'Sobrang mamimiss kita'
Sue Ramirez has penned a heartfelt tribute to her mom, Chit Dodd, as she mourned her loss.
On her Instagram account, the actress shared a series of photos of memories she made with her mom before the latter's passing on Aug. 17.
"Kung may mas mahaba pa sa habang-buhay, ganun kita katagal mamahalin, Mi. Ito ang sakit na hindi mawawala sa puso ko kailanman," she wrote in the caption.
"Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin, Mi. Hindi namin alam kung paano mabuhay sa mundo [nang] wala ka. Sana alam mo na mahal na mahal ka namin at napakalaki ng puwang na iiwan mo sa aming lahat," she continued.
She went on to say how grateful she is that Chit was her mom.
"Wala nang mas masakit pa sa pagkawala mo. Salamat sa lahat, Mi. Para sa buhay na binigay mo, para sa lahat ng pag-iintindi at pagpapasensya, sa mga lambing at tawa, sa pagmamahal mo na hindi kayang pantayan ng kahit sino," Sue said.
"Hinding-hindi kami titigil na pag-usapan ka at ipagmalaki sa lahat ng tao na anak kami ni Chit. Sobrang mamimiss kita, Mi. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita. Hanggang sa muli, Mi," she added.
Sue previously shared health issues that her mom had been suffering from lately.
Back in January, she appealed to her followers for blood donations for her mother, who was set to undergo open-heart surgery. Chit had also contracted pneumonia before the procedure.
Chit was a labor leader who served as vice president of the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines, which pushes for workers’ rights and welfare.
