Former 'Ellen' child star Sophia Grace is pregnant with second baby

Sophia Grace Brownlee, the former child star who went viral on The Ellen Show in 2011 for flawlessly rapping Super Bass, is now going to be a mother of two!
The TV personality shared the good news of her second pregnancy on her YouTube channel, sharing how she has been hiding the fact for a "super long time."
"As a very paranoid, very anxious person, I always like to wait until I’m at least like around the 20-week mark, and I almost am, so I thought it would be the perfect time to announce it," Sophia said.
"I’ve had both of my scans and everything’s been fine so far, which is really good," she added. "I’m actually finding out the gender today. I can’t even explain to you guys just how excited I am and that video will be coming soon, so tuned for that."
Sophia highlighted that she is delighted that her first child River, who she welcomed in February 2023 and is now 18 months old, is now going to become a big brother.
"It’s going to be so nice for him to have a younger sibling. And because they’re quite close in age, they can grow up together, and I just think that’s really sweet," she said.
The former child star gave birth to River via cesarean section after having dilated to 10 cm. Because of this, her doctors cautioned her that she could possibly have preterm labor, which can lead to her baby being born prematurely.
"It’s very uncommon but it does happen, so what [the medics] have to do just to make sure that that's not gonna happen is that they have to check your cervix to see if it’s all closed and how it should be," Sophia said.
Like with her first pregnancy, she did not disclose any details about the father of her baby. She previously told E! News that the reason for this is because she wants something to keep to herself.
"Because I have always been in the spotlight, I feel like I want something just to keep to myself, something that I can keep private and that I can just enjoy myself and not have to share it with everyone," she said.
Sophia went viral over a decade ago when she was eight years old for adorably singing Nicki Minaj’s hit song Super Bass with her cousin Rosie McClelland. Aside from impressing Ellen and Nicki, she also captivated the viewers’ hearts as the video of their performance made the rounds online. It has gained more than a hundred million views as of this writing.
Now 21 years old, she makes content as a vlogger and influencer with over a million followers on Instagram and over three million subscribers on YouTube.
