Kylie Padilla laughs off netizen's remark that she 'cheated first' on Aljur Abrenica
Kylie Padilla laughed off a comment on her recent Instagram reel that she "cheated first" on ex-husband, Aljur Abrenica.
The couple's breakup was one of the most viral breakups in 2022, and talks about who cheated first are still an ongoing debate among netizens.
On her reel on Instagram last Jan. 2, the actress is all smiles while walking and glancing behind her unidentified companion who was taking the video.
The clip had mixed reactions from the netizens. While some are happy that Kylie appears to have a new beau, some believed that she "cheated first," agreeing to Aljur Abrenica’s cryptic post last October 2021.
One netizen commented, “Totoo pala sabi ni Aljur [na] ikaw naman unang lumandi.” To which the actress replied with laughing in tears emoji, seemingly unbothered by the accusatory comment.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Aljur stated, “Tell them who cheated first. Tell them who wrecked our family. Tell them why I gave up on you not on our family. The people deserves (sic) to know,”.
Recently, Kylie posted a reel of her trip to Kanchanaburi, Thailand, wherein it is seen that she tried out local food, visited scenic locations, and rode in a train while holding hands with a man who she did not disclose the identity.
Her caption reads, “wandering with another fellow wanderer”.
Aljur and Kylie ended their marriage in 2021. It was revealed by Kylie's dad, Robin Padilla, that the reason for their breakup was an alleged third party.
Aljur was linked to actress AJ Raval and admitted that they are in the “getting to know each other” stage, but denied that the actress was the reason for the breakup.
Kylie and Aljur were married in 2018. They have been co-parenting their two sons, Alas and Axl.
