Red Velvet's Wendy to have solo comeback with 'Wish You Hell' in March

Exciting news for ReVeluvs as Wendy, Red Velvet's main vocalist, is set to release her first solo comeback in March.

On X (formerly Twitter), the South Korean singer announced her second solo mini album, Wish You Hell which will be released on March 12 at 6 p.m. KST.

Aside from the title and date, Wendy has also revealed the first teaser image for her upcoming album, which shows several seats arranged on a zigzagged floor in a white room. Likewise, a heart is painstakingly sketched on a chalkboard as if computed on a graph, intensifying the album's mystery.

In case you didn't know, the Red Velvet member is releasing a solo mini-album for the first time in 3 years following her solo debut with Like Water in 2021.

Meanwhile, Wendy has been on television many times in addition to her music career.

She was a panelist on reality shows such as Trick & True (2016–2017), and We Got Married (2015–2016). She is also one of the cast of Korean comedy shows such as Saturday Night Live Korea (2021) and Mysterious Record Shop (2021).

In 2022, Wendy joined SM Entertainment's supergroup Got the Beat.

The group comprises seven female artists who had already debuted under the agency, including soloist BoA, Taeyeon, and Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation, her fellow Red Velvet member Seulgi, and Aespa's Karina and Winter.

The 29-year-old South Korean star also hosted the SBS Power FM's radio show Wendy's Youngstreet from 2021 to June 2023.

Moreover, she made her official theater debut as 'I' in the 10th Anniversary production of the musical Rebecca in 2023, showcasing her singing prowess.

Wendy is known for her hit Korean OSTs, including What If Love, Two Words, I Can Only See You featuring Seulgi, and Because I Love You, among others.
